Author Guidelines

Prospective authors are invited to submit full papers (12 pages), short papers (6 pages), or poster papers (1-2 pages) in Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) format.

Papers should be identified as within one of four thematic sections:

  1. Technologies;
  2. Theory and models;
  3. Novel systems and applications;
  4. Evaluation and studies.

Paper submission

All submissions should be anonymous, and papers must be submitted as PDF files; text source archives will be requested upon acceptance for publication.

Authors are encouraged to submit a video to help illustrate their work.

The manuscript submission process is carried on through Springer Online Conference Service (OCS). To this purpose, authors are kindly requested to register an user account on the OCS website shown below.

    1. Follow this link: http://senldogo0039.springer-sbm.com/ocs/conference/submitpaperto/IVA2013
      and login with your OCS registered E-mail address and password.
    2. Provide your manuscript title
    3. Provide keywords
      (we encourage authors to include the relevant keywords that are shown in Topic of Interest in CFP)
    4. Choose paper category (full-paper, short-paper, poster) from the pull-down menu as Label
    5. Tick one of the four thematic sections as Sessions
    6. Provide abstract (max. 150 words)
    7. Provide list of authors and indicate a contact person.
    8. Upload your manuscript (in PDF only) and submit.
      NB: please make sure your paper is anonymised in terms of the identity of the authors before you submit.

Review information

All manuscripts are treated as confidential information. Participation in the review process is conditional on agreement that manuscripts are provided solely for quality assessment and that sharing of the contents of a manuscript with persons not formally involved in its review is prohibited. The Workshop organizers and their employers cannot be held responsible for failure of individuals to adhere to this policy.

Copyright form

Authors of accepted papers will be required to complete a copyright form in due course in order for the paper to be included in the proceedings.
