A couple of social events will be organised during the school. More information will be provided on your arrival.Edinburgh has a large number of pubs, bars and clubs. Local students will be on hand to guide your choice!

Suggestions for things to do in your free time
Friday afternoon has been left as free time, or you might like to extend your stay for an extra night.- Visit the castle
- Walk down the Royal Mile - from the Castle to Holryood Palace and the new parliament
- Take a guided walking tour - these start from the Royal Mile
- Visit the brand new Scottish parliament
- Climb Arthur's Seat for the best view of Edinburgh
- Explore the Old Town - very close to the University area
- Explore the New Town - a beautiful Georgian residential area just north of Princes Street
- Visit one of the National Galleries (all are linked by a free bus)
