An experimental new curriculum in Language and Speech has been developed by 13 European universities and is endorsed by the International Speech Communication Association and the European chapter of the Association for Computational Linguistics. At the KU Leuven, this program is organized as part of the Master in Artificial Intelligence programme, option Speech & Language Technology.

Each year, one of the partner universities organizes a Master School. The 3rd European Master School on Language and Speech is organised by the KU Leuven, the oldest university of the Low Countries. This Summer School takes place from July 8 until July 12 2002.

Please note that the programme and certainly the schedule are only preliminary and can change. An electronic registration form is available. You should be enrolled before May 31, 2002. There will be no registration fee. Accommodation will be available.
