The Department of Computer Science at the University of Sheffield operates both 3 year bachelors degrees and 4 year (taught) masters degrees at undergraduate level. To meet the requirements for certification in language and speech, students must be studying for one of the single-honours 4 year masters degrees offered by the department, namely Computer Science, Software Engineering or Artificial Intelligence. In addition to the general requirements for the certificate described elsewhere, students must pass each of the courses in a programme of study geared towards the European Masters.
